EHM Logo DNI in CircleThe Evangelical Humanist Movement is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to promote and aggressively expand humanism and secular education.

It is our vision to help create a world where:

Each individual, organization and government shuns faith as a basis for making any decisions, but instead uses logic, rationality and scientific data.

The idea  of god is eliminated from all non-religious schools, organizations and governments.

Every child and adult understands what science is, how it works, how it benefits each individual’s life and the basic concepts it teaches about the universe, the world and life.

The primary vehicle we will employ is Secular Humanists on Campus (SHOC). By placing a SHOC chapter in every Middle School, High School, and College and University campus; and by using SHOC Youth Camps and SHOC Teacher Camps to aggressively train SHOC youth members in the principles of evangelical humanism to spread humanism on their campuses and teach educators more effective ways to promote science, critical thinking and logic in schools, we are confident we can fulfill our mission, accomplish our goals and achieve our vision.

It is our goal, by joining with the thousands local secular groups functioning in communities around the world, to place a SHOC chapter on every non-religious school campus around the world and a Evangelical Humanist Center in every community.

Join us in pursuing our mission, accomplishing our goals and fulfilling our vision by following this blog, contacting us and leaving us your name and email address and we will send you our monthly news letter informing you of what we are up to and how you can get involved.
